When I first started blogging, my creative focus was primarily on paper crafting, but over time, I've expanded to include other areas of creative interest, and the site has continued to blossom.

Woodshop Shenanigans by Firecracker Kid

Hello everybody! First of all I want to thank our sweetheart of a blog friend, Maggie, for allowing us this opportunity to share and advertise our handmades with y'all out of the kindness of her heart. Thanks lots gal!

 My hubby and I have made woodcrafts for 25 years, and have a store at Etsy called Firecracker Kid Primitives. I chose this name, because I was born on the 4th of July. My family always called me "firecracker kid". My father always told folks that when I was born I came out with a bang! Put that little fact, Independence Day, my love of primitives and my country, plus I don't think we ever grow up, and you get Firecracker Kid Primitives.

We handcraft one-of-a-kind woodcrafts and reproduction woodcrafts like different Early American dough bowl racks and other primitive, country, and cottage style furnitures.

Hubby and I love creating one-of-a-kind items. We like to come up with unique primitive woodcrafts that are appealing to others, and that are functional in the home too.

How are you today! I am part of the One World One Heart Giveaway that is going on now over at Lisa's blog Whimsical Bohemian. People from all over the world are participating so thought it would be a fun thing to do.

It is not too late if you want to sign up for a giveaway too. Check out mine and who knows you might get lucky.

A friend of a friend has offered to do a button for me so any ideas on the button for this site would be great.

What Do You Think!

Do you like how I have updated my page? I think it looks a little better still needs work though.

Been trying to think what would help on here and I know I need a new header what about the name should I keep it or do you have any suggestions.

Also I will try to send whoever wants one a invitation to be a contributor to this site so you can add post whenever you have something you want to say or a piece of yours you want to show. Just a suggestion. Let me know if you are interested.
